Privacy Policy (DRAFT — attorney review required before public launch)

Who we are. vyBeam LLC operates VYBEAM (vybeam.com). Questions: privacy@vybeam.com.

What we collect

Account data (email, username, salted password hash); content you upload or post; watch history for signed-in users; approximate usage data — view counts are keyed to a one-way hash of IP and browser for de-duplication, and watch-time is aggregated per video per day; session cookies (strictly necessary, no third-party ad cookies).

Video watch history (VPPA notice)

Your watch history is used only to power your History page, your recommendations, and aggregate creator statistics. We do not sell or disclose your personally identifiable video-viewing history to third parties. You can clear your watch history at any time from the History page; clearing deletes it from our database.

Processors & ads

Infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (hosting, video delivery). Ads are served by our own ads.vybeam.com; ad decisions are not based on your viewing history or identity — only on the video being watched.

Your rights

Email privacy@vybeam.com to access or delete your account data. Residents of California, the EU, and other jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights; we honor verified requests regardless of residence.

Children

VYBEAM is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data; accounts require an age attestation at signup.
