DMCA / Copyright policy (DRAFT)

VYBEAM (operated by vyBeam LLC) responds to valid DMCA takedown notices. Send notices including (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the VYBEAM URL of the allegedly infringing video, (3) your contact information, (4) a good-faith statement, (5) a statement under penalty of perjury of accuracy and authority, and (6) your physical or electronic signature.

Registered agent: [PENDING — register with the US Copyright Office before public launch; see TODO.md]. Until then, use the in-product report flow with reason “Copyright infringement”.

Repeat infringers' accounts are terminated.

Counter-notification (17 U.S.C. §512(g))

If your video was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, submit a counter-notification from the video's edit page in Creator Studio. It must include your name and address, a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief the removal was erroneous, and consent to federal court jurisdiction. Unless the claimant files a court action, removed material is eligible for restoration in 10–14 business days.
